There are a lot of running websites out there but they are not all suited to everyone. Since January I have found myself returning over and over to the same few so I thought I would share them with you too. My absolute favourite is http://toofattorun.co.uk by Julie Creffield. Starting as a one-woman campaign to encourage everyone to run, this has gathered a head of steam with lots of resources.
I also like http://womensrunninguk.co.uk/ for its down to earth blogs and sensible advice.
http://thisfatgirlruns.com/ is a blog by another Irish runner who discusses her challenges in an articulate and moving way.
This website by Niall Bresslin discusses the value of exercise in the every day struggle with mental health issues, especially depression and anxiety http://www.my1000hours.com/ with lots of how-to help.
I am sure there are more, but I will add to this post as I remember them.
